Pathway Student Success Teams 

Supporting Students in our Academic &

Career Pathways 

Phase One 

During College Day and our Community of Practice, folks across campus collaborated on great ways to support students around how to help students find Programs and use Degree and Certificate maps (Program Maps).  

Please feel free to use, modify, share the following:

Academic and holistic support resources (such as "My Pathway Checklist," Student Resource Guide, etc.)

• Brainstorming Ideas 
  • Marketing Ideas
    • Posters around campus
    • "My Pathway Checklist" Handouts around campus in resource centers
    • Welcome Week handout with QR code
    • Counseling Handout
    • High School recruitment handout and at other events
  • Annoucement or Email  "My Pathway Checklist" to students
  • Office Hour/One-on-One Discussions:  Where are you at in your pathway?
  • Activities to get students to talk to each other about it through Discussion Board Assignment or Icebreaker/breakout/group topic
    • Check off what you have completed.  Write or share reflections on what is recommended, what has been helpful or barrier.  
    • What resources do you recommend?  Any that you did not know existed or are interested in knowing more about?
• Sample Activity (such as Discussion Board, Assignment, etc.)
  • : Investigate resources and supports of interest and things to consider to support completion of goals
