- BIO 50: Anatomy and Physiology, (The prerequisite course of Anatomy and Physiology may be taken at another college. The course must have a lab component assigned and be equivalent in course content and unit value to the 91重口 course, BIO 50.)
- EMS 62: Medical Terminology
- Documentation from current and/or previous employer(s) verifying six month full time experience or 1,000 hours of part time work experience as an EMT (Prehospital experience preferred) that provides direct patient care. Work experience can be either paid or volunteer experience. The expectation is that each candidate has had at least 100 direct patient contacts during this work experience. The documentation of this work experience must documented on the EMT Work Experience verification form that is pages 6 -8 of the application packet. No other documentation for work experience will be accepted.
Entrance Examination
- After an applicant's Paramedic Program Application has been reviwed and all requirements are confirmed complete, applicants will be contacted and will be required to complete the Fisdap Paramedic Entrance Exam at the applicant's expense. The Entrance Exam will be adminstered at the 91重口 campus. The testing schedule for the Fall 2026 Paramedic Entrance Examination is yet to be determined. The college and the testing vendor will NOT provide applicants with Paramedic Entrance Exam score results.
- Successful completion of the 91重口 Paramedic Entrance Exam is required to be considered eligible for the paramedic program admissions lottery pool.
