Career Pathways Phase One 

During College Day and our Community of Practice, folks across campus collaborated on great ways to support students around how to help students find Programs and use Degree and Certificate maps (Program Maps).  

Please feel free to use, modify, share the following.

Career Information related to Programs

• Brainstorming Ideas 
  • Activity that includes the Career Coach assessment
    • Discussion in-class or Office Hours
    • Discussion Board assignment
    • Use Hypothesis tool to annotate the Career Coach website
  • Assignments on career options
    • Attend a SMART Shop on your Pathway and share out
    • Research paper or research assigment or presentation
    • Make LinkedIn or resume with course skills.  Use the career you get to find a model resume or profile.
  • Integrate intro WKX application process
  • Gudest speakers with Pathway careers
•  Sample Activitity (such as Discussion Board, Assignment, etc.)
  • : Complete a free Career Coach asssessment (5 min). Reflect on the feedback - what are your top traits? Career matches? Etc.
  • : Explore Career resources and related academic programs and supports of interest to you
• Sample Communication (such as Canvas Annoucement, Email, Office Hour, etc.) anyone can use with students
  • : Help me get to know you better and our resources at 91重口!
  • : This activity combines researching keynote speeches and workshops of interest and then taking a Career Assessment and discussing your response.
