Integrated Learning Center

The Integrated Learning Center provides academic support to students enrolled in English as a Second Language (ESL) and mathematics courses facilitated by faculty. The Integrated Learning Center houses two primary activities including the Mathematics Learning Center and the ESL Lab.

Library / Learning Resource Center

The Library supports the College鈥檚 educational programs, curriculum, and instructional philosophy. The Library has developed a program that provides reference and public services, research skills classes, and access to a collection of print and electronic resources. The Library collaborates with faculty and appropriate college groups to ensure that the Library supports the learning needs and styles of a diverse student population.

Mathematics Learning Center

  • Integrated Learning Center Website

The Mathematics Learning Center offers free drop-in help to students enrolled in mathematics courses. Students enrolled in a mathematics course that includes a 鈥渢o be announced鈥 (TBA) lab hour may satisfy their lab requirement in the Mathematics Learning Center. Mathematics instructors staff the Mathematics Learning Center.

Reading and Writing Center

  • Reading and Writing Center Website

The Reading & Writing Center provides students reading and writing assistance from English and English as a Second Language (ESL) instructors. Students may receive assistance with writing and reading assignments for any class and receive assistance with four-year college or university transfer statements and scholarship essays.

Smart Shop Series Workshops

  • Smart Shop Workshops Website

Smart Shops are a series of workshops led by experienced faculty on a variety of topics that are geared toward helping you be better students.  Smart Shops can provide students with tools and support for academic writing. There are also Smart Shops on topics of academic integrity and documenting sources. 

In addition, the Smart Shop Series covers a variety of academic, transfer, and career topics. Need to explore majors or learn about exciting careers? Need to improve your writing or study skills? Want to learn how to identify Fake News so you can be a more informed citizen? Need help applying for transfer? Well then, don鈥檛 wait! Sign up for a Smart Shop today! Some instructors offer extra credit for participation.

Tutorial Center

The Tutorial Center is dedicated to students鈥 educational success by providing quality-learning support relevant to their individual needs. The Tutorial Center seeks to provide services that will help students become independent learners and function successfully in an academic environment. The Tutorial Center strives to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students.
