Important Guidance
Before using TechConnect Zoom:
- Get familiar with . Follow best practices when scheduling meetings to prevent disruptions and explore security features you can use during meetings.
- Take steps to protect student privacy (FERPA). For example:
- It's helpful to set office hour meetings up with a waiting room, so that a student doesn't pop into the middle of a sensitive discussion about grades you may be having with another student.
- Don't share recordings with students outside of the class in which the session was recorded.

- Older Zoom recordings are regularly deleted per .
