Computer Science (CS)

The degrees and certificates in Computer Science prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions for continued study in computer science. The program outlined fulfills typical lower-division requirements at four-year transfer institutions. Some variation in requirements may exist at a particular four-year college or university; therefore, it is essential that the student also refer to the catalog of the prospective transfer institution and consult a counselor.

General Education courses should be selected carefully to meet the requirements of the intended transfer institution. Some transfer institutions require more general education units than are required by the AS degree.
